I put together a random technique generator, inspired by moves from the original PKMN games.
It's mostly for fun, but it might inspire some moves.
These are pretty neat. Right now we have only a couple techniques and technique effects. You should try taking a shot at turning some of these into actual techniques by creating a JSON file like this in the resources/db/technique folder.
Technique effects that don't exist yet (like lowering a stat, etc.) have to be defined in the code in core.components.technique, but these can be implemented at a later time by anyone.
Do you think it's possible to introduce this generator in game ? It would be great if some characters in Tuxemon can create random attacks that the player is able to buy. It would be even better if we could put together a tuxemon generator to create random tuxemon but that seem pretty hard.
It's certainly possible to randomly generate techniques like this in-game but it's not a priority right now for the core gameplay. Maybe further down the road we can revisit the possibility of using procedurally generated techniques.
