Random Tuxemon Ideas

If I haven't worded things clearly enough, ask me for further explanation. I hope these ideas can be used a little in Tuxemon.

Hi josepharaoh99,

Looks like five different concepts here:

What the heal interface should look like
What the evolution interface should look like
What the shop interface should look like
What the tuxeballs/capture devices should look like
What we should call "evolution"

I don't have a strong opinion on the first three.

I think the three parts of the Tuxemon logo should carry through in the capture device.

I think "metamorphosis", or "morphing" for short, makes sense as our term for "evolution". I see what you mean about it being more accurate.

About Evolution:

I have this idea... I'd like to present it, but I have nothing prepared for it right now..

Basically my idea is: The evolution is a simple animation, some effects and stuff.. BUT...
...the evolution animation is different depending on the type of the tuxemon

while earth as an example would create dust particles and make the ground shake, wood would create leaves as particles and create something like vine on the ground...
In the background, you'd see the symbol of the element

how do you think about this?

What I don't like in your evolutions is, that the tuxemon "use" the tuxeball or some box/crate to evolve. But aren't the tuxemon evolving by their own? They do not need these objects to become "stronger" or to grow...

Sounds cool! I like the idea of letting different types of creatures' morphosis look different! If we can get some interface drawn up for this, that would be awesome!! big_smile Thanks for your input, Sanglorian and tamashihoshi!

Haha no, not stupid - just that since the Tuxemon logo looks like this:

I think tuxeballs should also be split into three parts.

I really love this idea. The mock-up animation that you made looks awesome. I would love to include something like this in the game. It would especially draw attention to the 5 primary types of Tuxemon.

That looks like a nice set of icons, good find joseph smile

We might not use all of them, but that's okay. I actually have some experience making icons for my Crusader Kings 2 mod (Ancient Religions Reborn), if there is an icon you need in particular, let me know and I'll try to put something together.

Well, this makes me wonder about one thing -  is there gonna be a hud in this game? Cause that would require more symbols.

Unless we expand the game window, I don't think we could comfortably fit interface elements into the world view. Although, it would be nice to be able to see at a glance some information, like what Tuxemon you have in your party and perhaps their current status.
