Diagram of the Pokemon Red plot
Hi folks,
I think there's a lot to be said for Pokemon Red/Blue's minimalist storyline, the way the gameplay is never sacrificed for the plot, and the way that the story emerges from small hints. The lack of detail allows for a "fruitful void" where people can interpret the story differently - like how PKMN Red/Blue gave rise to the PKMN War theory and (with the anime and the other games) the Team Rocket is Good theory.
So as a study, I tried to create a mind map of Red's plot, to see how many themes and elements it has, when and how often they recur, whether they are interconnected, that sort of thing.
Let me know if you find it interesting:

Maintaining a relatively simple but flexible setting also makes it easier for users who want to design custom campaigns that fit into the cannon world of Tuxemon.
